Hi Rtech Lab, I have the same Hitachi your working on, I got myself a JVC sound bar wich came with an Optical cable, I tried plugging it in too the TV there was a Red lite coming from the port on the back of the TV, I kept forcing the plug, after trying every way the Red light went out, then I realised that the small plastic cover on the Optical cable was still attached, what a dick I felt, do I need to change the part or full Bord? or is there a way of resting it somehow?
